PRODESP's fixed income system is undergoing several significant improvements
In partnership with the USP Networks Laboratory, Evo Systems supported PRODESP in adopting DevOps techniques in ASP.NET projects, test automation, and continuous builds.

Challenge
In early 2020, Evo Systems was invited by LARC (Network Laboratory of Poli USP) to participate in an architectural evaluation project of a Fixed Income system developed by PRODESP. The main objective was to generate a report on the system's capacity to support a five times greater transaction load. This became necessary due to the significant increase in the number of customers using banking applications, resulting in a much larger volume of transactions than previously handled in bank branches.
Ensuring software quality was a complex challenge. Beyond traditional testing of executable software, it was necessary to guarantee requirements such as maintainability, standards, security, and performance. The approach needed to go beyond conventional testing and involve architectural inspections that assessed the software's structure during development.
Transformation_
In partnership with the USP Network Laboratory, Evo Systems supported PRODESP in adopting DevOps techniques in ASP.NET projects, automating tests and continuous builds. Tools such as SONAR, ElasticSearch, Kibana, and Solarwinds were used to generate bottleneck indicators and identify potential system improvements.
Evo Systems, a company specializing in .NET and systems architecture, joined the project's team of experts. The result was a series of detailed recommendations aimed not only at improving software quality but also at providing security for clients who depend on this system in their daily operations. The architectural assessment ensured that the software was prepared to handle the anticipated increase in transaction load, guaranteeing its efficiency, security, and maintainability.
