Challenge

Conta Pronta is a company specialized in the commercialization and distribution of financial services for individuals who want to carry out everyday financial transactions, as well as for those who wish to transform their business into a fintech.

Evo Systems implemented improvements to the design of Conta Pronta’s legacy web system interface. The redesign concept emerged as a way to modernize the platform and align its visual elements with the mobile application. This included updates to colors, buttons, typography, and other interface components.

There was a clear need to standardize the visual elements and bring the web interface closer to the mobile experience, giving the application a more modern look throughout the process.

The main challenge was to align the web version with the mobile version by standardizing both experiences. We relied on a team of interface and user experience designers (UX/UI Design) to modernize the system by applying the brand’s concepts across the application. The system includes several financial service features, acting as a closed banking solution for companies to make payments to employees. Features such as card visualization, transactions and statements, bill and invoice payments needed to be updated in the redesign and adapted for both versions of the application.

Transformation_

The interface proposal developed by the design team was created to standardize both the web and mobile versions of the application. This is extremely important, as a product with an inconsistent identity can generate several future issues, such as lack of consistency, difficulty in brand recognition, and the customer’s perception that the brand is not professional.

The web version of the application contained outdated elements compared to its mobile version, so we rebuilt the website using the modern elements already present in the mobile app. In addition to improving legibility, a lateral menu with icons was implemented, helping users navigate the site through word-to-icon association, making the experience more intuitive.

We applied Conta Pronta’s visual identity through the use of color across the interface. Orange, besides being the brand’s most striking color, draws the user’s attention to buttons, as it stands out against the predominantly black and white interface—also brand colors. The designed screens provide excellent contrast, causing no discomfort or difficulty when reading and identifying elements on the screen. This is also a result of a well-defined and logical information hierarchy. A strong hierarchy makes navigation more intuitive and accessible, taking into account font sizes and alignment on the screen. Misaligned elements or elements placed too close together cause visual discomfort, so all these aspects were carefully considered throughout the process to deliver a pleasant interface.

Elements such as the system’s search and filtering features were redesigned to be cleaner, making the visualization of dense information lighter and simpler. Another key improvement was the update of system alerts, which are now paired with colors. Alerts and important information are displayed using green or yellow, reinforcing verbal meaning with non-verbal cues. Green is associated with important information for the user, while yellow indicates warnings, signaling that attention is required.

Finally, we developed a Design System for the application, documenting all site elements and their variations. This made management and maintenance much more efficient due to improved organization. Evo Systems develops a Design System in all its projects, as it is essential to the overall development process.

Strategy
