The publishing and news market is constantly evolving, demanding innovative technological solutions to keep up with the growing demand for dynamic and accessible content. Panrotas, a renowned news website specializing in tourism and considered the largest in its field, recognized this need and sought to modernize its content management software. To achieve this, it relied on the expertise of Evo Systems.

Evo Systems accepted the challenge and developed an international, fully SaaS (Software as a Service) version of Panrotas' content management product. This new version not only met Panrotas' specific needs but was also designed to be resold to other publishers throughout Latin America, expanding the reach and applicability of the solution.

The project involved creating a generic front-end that allowed for the efficient reuse of components, dynamically displaying news items registered by the editorial staff in another system. This approach ensured a consistent and personalized user experience, while also facilitating the maintenance and updating of the site.

The biggest challenges faced during implementation were:

• SEO (Search Engine Optimization): We performed detailed optimizations to ensure the best organic ranking for your website on Google. This involved everything from properly structuring the content to implementing advanced SEO techniques.
• Lazy Image Load: We implemented progressive image loading, which was crucial to avoid overloading our customers' mobile internet. This technique allowed images to load gradually, significantly improving website performance and user experience.

The partnership between Evo Systems and Panrotas resulted in a robust, scalable, and adaptable product that not only met Panrotas' immediate needs but also opened new market opportunities in Latin America. The new content management system improved Panrotas' operational efficiency while providing a superior user experience optimized for mobile devices.

The Panrotas news portal, specializing in tourism, registered a significant increase in the number of visitors in 2020. User traffic grew an impressive 58% compared to 2019. This increase is even more noticeable in access via mobile devices, standing out as the main means used by readers to follow news in the sector.
