Success with the partnership between Evo Systems and Wheaton in creating the BPM area
Wheaton, a leading national producer of glass bottles for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, commissioned Evo Systems to evaluate its BPM methodology and support the creation of its process office, which has already generated savings of around 40% in administrative processes. To face this challenging scenario, Business Process Management differs from traditional management because it evaluates the set of activities and tasks that make up the process, regardless of the department that executes it, in order to achieve operational performance gains. In this way, a process manager has the ability to manage the activities of professionals from any department that their process uses. According to Leonardo Dias, managing partner of Evo Systems, due to the need for data monitoring and analysis, BPM is a discipline that strongly requires information systems.

With a focus on operational technologies, Wheaton's IT department launched an initiative in 2019 to create a BPM (Business Process Management) area. They developed a BPM methodology based on managers' experience and conceptual references to create indicators and promote continuous improvement of the company's business processes. The area was initiating important projects, but lacking experience and maturity due to previous project execution. They found in Evo Systems a partner to help assess the progress of this work and generate suggestions to address the challenges. Our intellectual work on the BPM methodology was carried out in partnership so that Wheaton can reap the rewards and results regardless of our future interference," explains Leonardo Dias, managing partner of Evo Systems.
