During the Covid-19 pandemic, Virtus Tech provides remote support for desktops that are turned off
Evo Systems technology supports machines inside or outside the corporate network, even those with a blue screen, without an operating system, or when turned off

Challenge
Create a service with technology to access IT environments or environments with large volumes of machines, without the need to interrupt operations or during alternative hours (night and weekends) that require services such as: operating system reinstallation, BIOS updates, updates or patches, to prevent viruses, common routines in day-to-day operations, especially in bank branches.

The Virtus Tech Solution provides agility, security, and efficiency in IT routines, without interrupting day-to-day operations. During the pandemic, all system support and update needs are met without personal contact or access to client facilities. The solution's innovation adheres to the most rigorous security standards and can access machines that are powered off or displaying a blue screen, even without an operating system.
Strategy
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Virtus Tech solution has proven to be one of the most useful and innovative applications on the market. The Evo Systems team, with full access to the platform, has been providing services to all clients daily, without needing to travel to the client's location or Evo Systems' headquarters, as the entire technical team accesses Virtus Tech from their home offices for support, problem resolution, and prevention.

The Covid-19 pandemic, in addition to numerous problems and a general change in the way people work and in their daily lives, shifted thousands of employees to a work-from-home regime. In companies, the computers and servers remained, which, even when switched off, require maintenance, updates, and, in the case of banks, continuous monitoring.
During quarantine periods when access to a physical environment or contact is not possible, reinstalling a machine, updating BIOS, or installing patches to prevent viruses—common routines in the daily operations of bank branches, for example—can be a huge headache for managers. Evo Systems, an innovation consulting firm, created Virtus Tech, a solution certified on Intel's VPro platform, capable of providing remote support for thousands of machines, even those that are inoperative, turned off, or displaying a blue screen. “Remotely and without worry, we can perform maintenance or support for the employee's computer,” explains Leonardo Dias, managing partner of Evo Systems.
Evo Systems' own team, working from home, accesses the company's computers on their personal laptops via Virtus Tech and provides support to multiple clients without human intervention. The solution automates the process and helps technicians avoid having to travel to the company.
Virtus Tech is sold under the SaaS (Software as a Service) model and also allows for the rollout of new operating system versions, inventory of workstation hardware even when they are turned off, diagnosis and correction of workstation faults, remote access via browser, scheduling of operational updates and business processes, critical and preventive alarms to users/managers, generation of control and management reports, as well as continuous monitoring.
Developed for operation in geographically distributed environments, the solution features a user-friendly, intuitive, and secure interface, leveraging all the resources of the Intel vPro platform. "vPro technology provides enhanced hardware security, remote management, and productivity-enhancing features. In addition to being vPro compatible, Evo Systems has added layers of security, usability, and automation to IT operational procedures."
According to Intel, Evo Systems has a scalable and mature solution integrated with vPro, providing the best platform for businesses. "Intel data shows that companies keep the same machines for up to 8 years, which reduces efficiency and security. With this solution, IT managers have much more mobility, security, and productivity in their daily work," explains Bárbara Toledo, marketing manager at Intel Brazil. "Software updates, such as system and antivirus, can be done with machines completely powered off (not in standby mode, but truly switched off, only connected to the power grid) or at specific times, without interruptions, helping to increase productivity and computer security," she concludes.
Evo Systems is an innovation consulting company, specializing in the application of cutting-edge software engineering as a boost to leverage businesses. Among the services offered, highlights include BPM (Business Process Management) consulting, process mapping and automation, diagnostics (Assessment), App and system development, as well as software factory.
The Evo Systems team is composed of engineers and professionals with extensive academic training and experience in hardware and software technology and has a division specializing in customized training, startup mentoring and acceleration programs.
