The Goper platform motivates its users to carry out physical activities, with a range of resources within the app, facilitating the training process wherever you are. Personal trainers, rental plans, classes, lives; all in one app!

Challenge

TRENDX, a distributor of multifunctional solutions for body development, brings solutions to the fitness, wellness, functional or performance segment, with integrated thinking, focused on innovation, bringing together several brands in its scope. With the idea of producing a new platform that would bring an innovative way of exercising easily and at any time, TRENDX turned to Evo Systems.

Evo Systems was responsible for the complete development of the project, concerned with creating an innovative solution for people to motivate themselves to do physical activity.

Goper is an innovative workout app whose main goal is to encourage people to exercise in an effective and motivating way. To this end, it offers a wide range of resources, including qualified instructors, equipment rental plans, live classes, personalized workouts and much more. It is a complete app that transforms the way people train, providing a personalized, motivating and accessible experience, whether at home or in partner gyms and hotels.

Personalized Training

Goper facilitates each user’s workout journey through detailed individual mapping. Based on data such as age, weight, and personal goals, the app recommends specific workouts that align with the user’s profile. This personalization ensures that each exercise is tailored and effective for individual needs and goals.

Equipment Rental Plans

For those who prefer to train at home, Goper offers rental plans for equipment such as exercise bikes and treadmills. These devices come with integrated tablets that support the app, allowing users to watch classes, participate in live sessions and track their performance statistics directly.

Live Classes and Video Classes

Users have free access to several classes within the app and can opt for personalized plans that include the use of equipment. Goper tutors hold regular live and video classes, providing a group training experience and encouraging interaction between students and trainers.

Health and Performance Monitoring

The app has advanced monitoring features, such as capturing heart rate via Bluetooth, especially while using the bikes. In addition, the system has a leaderboard to record training progress, allowing students to monitor their development and set personal goals and challenges.

Recommendation and Engagement System

Goper not only offers a vast library of content, but also has an algorithm, still under development, that aims to recommend workouts based on machine learning. This intelligent system suggests the most suitable workouts for each user, keeping them engaged and motivated. Each student's consumption history is recorded, along with their score in each workout, allowing continuous monitoring of progress.

Strategy

Evo Systems has worked with Goper since its inception. First, we were responsible for deciding which technology the project would use. The decision to use Flutter technology in 2019 was the right one, as it has given speed to application development and proved to be very flexible for responsive web development, maintaining a single language for the development of the platform's front end, which speeds up development, maintenance and project knowledge management. Initially, we set up a team capable of designing and implementing the platform's entire architecture. We created the necessary modules in the cloud, the structure of the application and discussed usability issues based on our experience with applications in other segments. Topics that formed the basis for future developments.

During the process, we supported the assembly of the Platform's team of developers. With our Garage Lab program, we recruited a talent and trained him: he was internalized by Goper and became the Product Leader. At the moment we're in a very interesting phase looking at engagement, performance and using Artificial Intelligence.

We also have an organized and digital process for controlling documentation, which brings security, control and guarantees the dissemination of knowledge among the team.
